It is not brown so I think it will come back....maybe...wait maybe I should not be giving advice as I have only 2 plants that I have managed to keep alive.
There you go blaming yourself again. These Gerbera Daisies are tranplanted into their pots just days before shipping and way too late into their blooming season. They rarely last more than a week for me too. Unless I plant them directly outside and even then I have problems. I keep telling myself not to buy these, but their colours are just fantastic and I always get sucked in.
Gerbers wilt pretty easily when dry, but perk up fast when watered. I learned this from my Mom, as she was looking at one my dughter had that was wilting. Didn't believe it would come back either, but an hour after we watered it, it was pulling itself back upright.
Thats why I just buy them for me and my porch sharing neighbor and let her take care of them! Otherwise mine would look like yours!
ReplyDeletePoor thing, did you water it!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

ReplyDeleteI like to plant them outside in pots and kill them slowly -- LOL! I love Gerbera daisies, but I haven't had much luck with them either.
