HI Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the report about the ruler- and I will look forward to hearing what you think about the fingers...
I don't like gloves for quilting- I know they say that it helps to control the quilt when quilting but I find my hands get too hot and I like the feel of the fabric under my own finger tips.
My favorite fabric designer- that's easy Kaffe Fassett though I hear that his new line is not that pretty...
Happy quilting,
Anna
I am also one of your followers and I will try and get a new blog post up tomorrow and put a link to your blog.
ReplyDeleteThe pattern is quite lovely - Dresden plate was the very first block that I ever made- I like how you have used that shape.
Warmest regards,
Anna
Right now, my favorite designer is Me and my sister. I love the dilly dally and have a cute embroidery/quilt started.

ReplyDeleteposted on facebook. i finally got signed up to follow your blog.
ReplyDeletei tweeted,
ReplyDeletei have so many favorite fabric designers. but i don't always like all they design. the pattern and colors just have to grab me at the time i am looking for something. i usually don't like all the fabrics in a fabric line either. i almost always use other fabrics with a line, and eliminate some.
ReplyDeletei do like mark lipinske, ricky timms, alex anderson, pat sloan.................it is always color and pattern that get me to buy.
Zipper flowers: in the newsletter from Behind the Seams she had a link that was interesting:
