A funny and list for Victoria

Lets start with the list - Dear Victoria, I wrote you a reply email, only to discover I was writing it to: Victoria <noreply-comment@blogger.com>
This made me sad as I wanted to reply to your messages. So I thought, hm, I can still do that on here! Hopefully you get this. You had asked me if I had a list of shopping sites. I do not have a list for say that I refer to, but there are a couple of sites that I have ordered from. Here they are:
Wish Upon A Quilt
Fat Quarter Shop
Fabric Shack
Connecting Threads
Intrepid Thread
Fabric Shoppe
Beyond the Reef
My friend Anna had given me a few others, but I cannot for the life of me find that email. These sites should keep you busy though!

Now on to the funny! My friend Kathy sent this to me at work and it made me snort so it must be good =)

 A Lovely Story About Me
One day, long, long ago, there lived a beautiful woman who did not whine, nag or bitch.  (That would be me...)

But that was a long time ago and it was just that one day.

The End

hahahaha, did you snort too?
Cheers,
Carolyn

  5. Very funny Carolyn- love it - Here are a few more shops to add to your list:
Hancocks of Paducah , Sew Sisters in Toronto, Canada and The Fat quarter shop. I have ordered from all three of them at one point or another and loved the fabric I have received in the mail. The prices were good ( Hancocks and Sew Sisters often have free shipping or some other sales to defray the costs of it)
I am having a nice weekend at home quilting- if you are free on Monday perhaps we can get together?
    Regards,
    Anna

  6. Very funny - made both me and my husband laugh! I'll give you a couple more sites to check out - BurgundyButtons.com and WondrousWovenMagic.com. Both are excellent on-line fabric shops with great customer service and excellent prices!
