Keeping Busy

Things have been happening here, but they have all been secrets. I can finally share some of the things I have been working on.
First, here is a fabulous little wall hanging I made for my friend Christina from Nuclear Knits. It was her and her husbands anniversary this past weekend and I was honoured that she reached out to me for this project. I loved making the project and I loved making it for my friend. I found it pretty inspiring and hope to make many more like this.

The back is almost as cool as the front.

Over the last couple of months I also made some larger pieces, here is one that I can share - it is a queen size quilt for Mr. Hunter's sister for her birthday.
Here is the back.

And lastly, here is a little sneak peak for my mother in law as I am sure you have guessed from Naomi's gift what yours will be. But this is all you get until your birthday!
What have you guys been making?
Cheers,
Carolyn

  2. Oh my gosh the quilt for your sister-in-law is so pretty! I have to know ... how did you get so good at quilting? The mini quilt and the sister quilt have such amazing quilt work. Done on a machine? Still impressed!!!

  3. Wow Carolyn! You out did yourself on these quilt. Great work. And here I thought you were too busy redoing your house to be quilting. Oh, I have to tell you I had the best beer the other day - Honeycrisp Apple Wheat. I can't remember the brand but if you see it BUY it. So good.

I haven't got much new to show these days- lots of beginnings but not many endings- I best get busy hadn't I with all those wedding quilts. I am looking forward to seeing your new project quilt - I am sure it will be another beauty.
    Warmest regards,
