Some blocks for my friends

I was able to get my blocks for August done and sent out - I sent them out in the last bit of August - which I hate doing as it takes so darn long to get things across the border - sorry my new friends for not getting them in the post sooner! Here are some pictures to check out while you wait for the post to show up.
OK, so the only rule on this block was to have a wonky star - and if you click on the image to make it bigger you will see that the centre air balloon has wonky stars. Colleen said to use my imagination and that is where my little brain went when I was thinking of what to do - into the clouds!
This lovely block is for Sally. She sent instructions on how to make a "cheat" flying geese. I will try and take some pictures when I make them again - its not rocket science, but I thought it was pretty brilliant.
Hey Luigi!! I don't want your tire!!
Oh if you insist.
Our little Lucky Lu has more health issues again. Poor little pig now has a breathing issue that can be fatal. We have meds for him, there is a technical name, but I put the paper work away and forgive me, I do not feel like pulling it back out at the moment. I'm not a praying woman, but I'm not apposed to it either if anyone wants to say a little something for him.
I am away from email for two weeks so if you leave a comment, please forgive me for being really slow to respond (I'm embarrassed to say that I have not replied to all of the Pets on Quilts comments - so sorry, I'll try to catch up).
Cheers,
Carolyn
