Tile is down - YEAH!

We did this over two days - I'm not really a diva requiring a wardrobe change. lol

Check out the caption on my shirt - Hell on Earth. hee hee, The kitchen no longer feels like hell on earth, it feels like a window into heaven actually, it's going to be awesome. It was however fitting to wear during the mudding and sanding - that sucked.

Mr. Hunter referred to the tile T's as our little soldiers. So when I collected them all I kept thinking, leave no man behind! They did a great job - the tiles are straight and fabulous.

Tadah!!
What do you think? Jealous?? Muhahahahaaaaa
Just kidding, don't be jealous of my new fabulous floor, it was a pain to put down, remember the removal of floor to the joists to make the floor level enough to lay these tiles. Pain in the butskey!
Cheers,
Carolyn

  3. The tile looks wonderful! You guys are moving along pretty quickly. Are you both on vacation or doing this after work and on weekends? I can't wait to see the finished kitchen.

Looks like you are making lots of progress. You have survived some of the messiest of jobs with the tile down and all the walls replaced. It is going to be gorgeous.
